I was sitting around a firepit one cool fall evening when someone threw in a pack of those color-changing flakes.  And man, the fire took on a life of its own.  Dancing, sparkling, showing off colors like a hyper aurora borealis. I knew I had to try to recreate that in a ring, so I made Midnight Forge. Black fire opal creates the embers, tiny fragments of copper create the sparks.
